Rushegura Group Gorillas, Uganda Safari Tours

The majority of visitors to Uganda go on safaris with Rushegura Group, which is located in the Buhoma area of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

One of the bigger groups of gorillas is the Rushegura Group, sometimes known as the R Group.

After becoming acclimated in 2000, Rushegura Gorilla Tours Group began for tourists in the Buhoma area in 2002, specializing on gorilla tracking. This Rushegura is a Habinyanja group fragment. It traverses a wide area and is quite active in the Buhoma region; sightings are often a bonus.

It sometimes visits Batwa town, the UWA park office’s Bwindi Waterfall, and even Buhoma Camp. Occasionally, they invade the nearby banana plantations. At present, the Rushegura Group comprises 19 gorillas. To see this gorilla family and many more, Insight Safari Holidays arranges gorilla trips in Uganda.Rushegura Group Gorillas, Uganda Safari Tours
