Buhoma Homestead is a very tiny neighborhood, just a five-minute walk from the Bwindi Forest’s gorilla trekking center of operations and the national park headquarters in Buhoma.

Accommodation

With double cottage apartments and verandahs providing a magnificent view of the pristine tropical rain forest, this Uganda safari camp offers well-designed lodging. With an improved solar system to provide the cottages with dim lighting and sufficient electricity to charge any device, the restrooms and toilets are up to par. There are additional nature walks available, depending on your preferences.

Despite the constant cold in the nights, there is a campfire available. It is comfortable and has a welcoming environment that encourages people to mingle and get to know one another. The bar has everything it needs.

Bwindi is well-known for its huge gorilla population. To see them in their natural habitat, a lot of visitors come here. The park is renowned for its abundance of many bird species and other animal species, including monkeys. Nature hikes with a tour guide provide the greatest views of these creatures and birds.
