Day 1: Transfer early morning from Kampala to the equator line for photography. Continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Your driver-guide will arrive at your home, hotel, or lodge in Kampala early in the morning to take you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You first stop at the equator line for some photographs and some geographical adventures in the center of the planet after a two-hour trip. You keep driving toward western Uganda, stopping for lunch along the way, and arrive in the evening. You arrive to a prearranged lodging facility, check in, relax, have supper, and spend the night there.
Day 2: Mountain Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Forest lasts about 2-6 hours with a maximum of 1 hour in the presence of the gorillas.
You will get a training on the guidelines for Uganda gorilla safaris at the park headquarters after an early breakfast. Eight visitors in all are assigned to a single gorilla family based on their trekking skill level during the briefing. Depending on where the gorillas slept the night before, each party is escorted by a park ranger for two to six hours at the beginning of the walk.
