Visit Nasolot National Park. Nestled to the north of Mount Melo, the Nasolot Reserve is beautiful and tough. The reserve is somewhat far-off, which means few guests and an opportunity to be at one with nature on the apparently limitless plains within its boundaries.
From Nasolot Hill, visitors to this sanctuary may enjoy amazing vistas, bird viewing, camping, fishing, and nature hikes. Established in 1979, Nasolot National Reserve has 9,200 hectares of very beautiful rocky terrain. It runs north of Mount Melo. Still, the Marich Pass Field Studies Centre, 80km south of the reserve off the A1 Kitale- Lodwar road, has self-catering accommodation as well as a camping. Month in month out the location is visited often. Adventures include game viewing, bird watching, fishing expeditions and boat rides on Aturkwell dam, nature hikes and camping overnight.
