4 Reasons why trekkers arrive in Rwanda & Trek in Uganda.

It takes up to nine hours to drive from Entebbe Airport in Uganda to Trek Gorillas in Bwindi National Park, and ten hours to go to Mgahinga National Park. Since the journey is quicker, many tourists would rather fly to Rwanda and still trek gorillas in Uganda.

The trip from Kigali to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park takes no more than four hours. Compared to Entebbe, Kigali, Rwanda, offers quicker access to Bwindi Forest and Mgahinga Forest National Park.
Due to the high cost of gorilla trekking permits, trekking in Rwanda can be somewhat costly.

In Uganda, a gorilla trekking permit costs 800 USD, whereas in Rwanda, it costs 1500 USD.
