Day 1: Arrival at Kigali International Airport and transfer to hotel in Kigali.

Day 2: Have a short Kigali city tour and transfer to Akagera National Park.

You eat lunch after the city tour and are then transported to Akagera National Park. It takes around two and a half hours to travel to the park. You travel to a reserved lodging establishment around dusk, where you check in, unwind, and spend the evening.
Day 3: Game drive in Akagera National Park and an evening boat cruise on Lake Ihema.
After breakfast, you spend around four hours exploring the park on a morning game drive. The big five game—buffaloes, rhinos, elephants, lions, and leopards—are among the creatures that are visible. Giraffes, zebras, hyenas, cape bushbuck, topis, oribis, roan antelopes, duikers, impala, cape eland, and many more are among the other animal species.
