2025 Ruaha and Nyerere Safari – A week in Southern Tanzania.

This seven-day private safari package combines Ruaha and Nyerere Safari. You may visit Ruaha and Nyerere National Park with Ruaha and Nyerere Safari. You will have lots of opportunity to view the Big Game and a broad range of other species that calls Ruaha National Park and Nyerere National Park, two of Tanzania’s biggest parks, on your seven-day, six-night flying safari. Fly from Dar Es Salaam and return there after seven days to see two of Tanzania’s biggest wildlife parks on the Southern Circuit.

Day 1 – 4: Fly from Dar es Salaam to Ruaha National Park.

This breathtaking flight departs early in the morning from Dar es Salaam and passes over the Udzungwa Mountain range, Nyerere, a huge wilderness, before descending at Msembe Airstrip in Ruaha National Park.

The plane may take off and land at many different airstrips to pick up and drop off passengers along the way. After picking you up at the airport, our guides will drive you back to camp.

We do our research in one of the best wildlife locations in Africa. Our custom-built open game drive vehicles are perfect for traversing the varied terrain of Ruaha. You may also go out on foot. Being self-sufficient is a whole different feeling. We like “going out” for breakfast and unwinding with a sundowner in the woods.2025 Ruaha and Nyerere Safari - A week in Southern Tanzania.

Honestly, the only reason you should do these things is because they are unique safari pleasures that you wouldn’t do at home. Whether you’re driving an open game drive vehicle, strolling along the game trails with your guide, or just roaming the camp to look for birds, this is safari the way it should be.

Day 4 – 8: Fly from Ruaha National Park to the Nyerere National Park

After breakfast in camp, depart Kigelia and go back to Msembe Airstrip in order to board a plane to Nyerere. After a short drive to camp, you’ll arrive at Sand Rivers Selous for lunch while admiring the stunning river views. You’ll be greeted with a second warm welcome as you land at Kiba Airstrip.

The days are spent exploring Sand Rivers. Our open-sided 4×4 vehicles are great for enjoying the landscape. for short-distance travel as required. However, we want to keep things impromptu wherever feasible.

To gain the finest view, avoid frightening away lakeside animals, or frighten an elephant herd when they are grazing, hop down and carefully go into a decent position. Our boats are no different. A great alternative to being in a vehicle is to be on the river. In general, a day at Sand Rivers isn’t devoted to driving constantly in search of the next animal or ticking boxes.

Return to Dar es Salaam via plane from Nyerere National Park.
After you say goodbye to your new campmates, our guide will drive you back to Kiba airport this morning in time for your 45-minute flight back to Dar es Salaam.
